Hawaii’s wildfire risk is 92% higher than that of other states. In addition, wildfires have increased in size and impact by about 400% in the past century.

After the devastating Maui wildfires in 2023, non-profits like the Hawaii Wildfire Management Organization worked tirelessly to spread helpful information throughout Hawaii.

COMMERCIAL

To reach residential communities prone to wildfires, we created this commercial that aired on Hawaii News Now (CBS/NBC), KHON2 (FOX), and KITV (ABC) from March through May 2024. During that time, it gained 1,066,300 HH impressions.

We also posted the video to the HWMO website and social media accounts.

PAID SOCIAL

To solidify HWMO as an expert in their field, we utilized paid social through the nonprofits’ own Instagram and Facebook to drive traffic to the website.

PAID ADVERTISING

HAWAII BUSINESS MAGAZINE

We utilized paid advertising through Hawaii Business Magazine to reach professionals across the islands.

We published the article “Unified Efforts: Building Hawaii’s Wildfire Resilience Together,” on the Hawaii Business Magazine website and featured in the magazine’s morning newsletter once a week throughout March 2024. In addition, we utilized sponsored posts on Instagram throughout April and May.
